About Oceanic Family font
Oceanic Font is a luxe, calligraphic upper and lowercase display serif that works beautifully for branding projects and quotes. Oceanic draws inspiration from the 18 and 19th century fat faces with upright contrast like Bodoni, Canon or Scotch Romans and adds odd and quirky details, such as the letters ‘c’ or ‘e’ that look like prehistoric oceanic creatures, as well as capital R and K that are designed to stand out and make you feel a little uncomfortable. Display is at the core of the family with its vibrant personality and quirks. The text family is sober, has reduced contrast and is slightly more condensed, designed to work for small sizes and running text. Oceanic brings neutrality, elegance and personality to design projects without drawing too much attention and becoming boring too fast.
