TT Travels Text Features a geometric sans-serif font with large proportions. Our goal when creating this font was to preserve all the recognizable elements and central idea from TT Travels while simplifying it for cleaner use; now we have an elegant typeface which complements TT Next beautifully while standing alone as an effective typeface option.
TT Travels Text stands out with its wide proportions and oval forms with slightly squared corners, featuring increased letter heights for lowercase letters and opening up of aperture relative to TT Travels Next version. Ink traps were removed from bold font, making it more neutral and contemporary looking. OpenType has been integrated into TT Travels Text as a powerful tool, with stylistic sets featuring more subtle, less dominant forms, an expanded ligature set featuring calmer and smoother graphic forms, as well as font adjustment on two axes for greater versatility.
TT Travels Text’s visual characteristics enable it to serve both as an accent in web and print publications as well as brand identity purposes. This font offers a well-balanced style suitable for magazine and book layouts, posters and packaging; its neutrality makes it suitable for a range of uses; when combined with TT Travels Next the typeface can achieve its maximum potential.
